Prémio de Design citado na rede
O Prémio de Design SEAT/Automagazine foi citado na rede, mais precisamente pelo site Core 77, que congrega as participações de vários profissionais e estudantes de design.
O tema da última edição deste concurso - "Um SEAT para a mulher moderna" - foi o que despertou a atenção de um dos autores do site, que de seguida tece várioselogios ao trabalho do Marcelo e remete igualmente para o respectivo blogue.

Eis o que diz Rain Noe, um designer de Nova Iorque, sobre o projecto SEAT W:

"The Seat W integrates several simple, yet useful, solutions, that make it user-friendly in a woman's everyday life, such as storage spaces inside; partial opening of the trunk; side doors opening from the center give good access to the interior and its seats (design inspired by Verner Panton's "Panton Chair"); the glazed surface "from top to bottom" making it easier to watch everything around.
There is easy access to the refrigerator liquid, motor oil and windshield liquid without the need to open the hood and an actual drawer that carries the spare tyre, for those situations that may be less frequent and considered as less attractive from the feminine point of view. The woman's independence is strengthened by making everything easy and simple."
--Obviamente, tratando-se de um site com "peso" em termos da quantidade e qualidade dos participantes, isto é para nós naturalmente motivo de orgulho. Claro que este post também serve para dar a conhecer o Core 77, que - não sendo eu designer - me parece um "sítio" muito interessante.
